Tom is currently enrolled in the Graduate Diploma of Broadcasting at Edith Cowan University. This year he was fortunate to win the Brian White Scholarship for aspiring journalists. Tom studied law the University of Western Australia (UWA) and graduated with a Juris Doctor degree in 2018. Previously, he completed a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Economics and Political Science & International Relations. During his time at UWA, Tom served as the General Manager of Ignite Mentoring. The organisation aims to address educational inequality in Australia by supporting high school students from low socioeconomic areas. Tom is an avid traveller and studied sustainable business practices and the foreign policy of the European Union at the Copenhagen Business School. In 2016, he visited the University of Oslo for a semester to study public international law. Tom currently tutors for Foundations of Public Law at the UWA Law School. He enjoys cooking, boxing and reading a good book.
